I'm Patrick Singleton, and I've been a photographer since I was six.

My Dad had a darkroom and developed my film along with his own, then taught me how, and I've been taking pictures ever since. In high school and college, I found summer jobs as a medical photographer. I studied fine art and photojournalism in school, and as an adult found jobs in art galleries, at newspapers, in public relations, printing, advertising, and web journalism.
Now, I'm a photographer full-time.

All along, I've taken pictures. For me, that means translating the significance
of the situation into a still photograph. Because I love people, families and friendship, I do as much wedding and Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitvah photography
as I can — those events warm my spirit, and I get a lot of beautiful pictures that show the connections between people. I enjoy the work.

I've made galleries of other kinds of photography, and they're linked to this page. When you see how I photograph my family and friends, our pets and so on, you'll get a feel for what I value, and what I try to do with photography.
